This course, which meets weekly for four weeks, helps parents keep their focus on their children during the difficulties of a divorce. The licensed professionals who teach the course help the separated or divorced couples learn to parent effectively and make decisions that are in the best interest of the children. “The Brilliance of Jewish Mourning Rituals”

This three-week course addressing the psychological and emotional aspects of the rituals of mourning is taught by Rabbi Howard Wolk and Debi Weiner, ACSW, LCSW, both of Jewish Family Service. Rabbi Wolk serves as community chaplain, as well as teaching at Yavneh Academy, and Ms. Weiner is the agency’s coordinator of Services to the Elderly.
