Emergency Financial Assistance Still Available for the Jewish Community to help with housing and/or utility payments due to economic impacts of COVID-19.

If you are a member of the Jewish community and are behind on rent, mortgage, or utility payments due to COVID-19, JFS may be able to help you.

There are still many people in our community who are dealing with home repairs and unexpected expenses associated with the storm damage. If you or someone you know could benefit from emergency financial assistance related to the storm damage, contact the JFS intake team for an emergency assistance assessment at (972) 437-9950 x340.

  • Insurance claim information
  • Repair Bills
  • Other expenses related to the winter storm


Please note, the last day to apply for FEMA assistance for this disaster was May 20, 2021. To check the status on your existing claim, visit www.disasterassistance.gov.


Kosher Food Available for the Jewish Community

We expanding our Kosher Corner which will be coupled with a new Jewish community outreach initiative to help community members overcome barriers to accessing support for their basic needs – all in a confidential manner.
